Artistic Freedom Watch
Artistic Freedom Watch is a platform for continuously collecting data in order to get a more complete and aggregated picture of the restrictions on Artistic Freedom (and Freedom of Expression) that are made in Sweden. Anonymized data will be used for analyses, reports, seminars. Brought to you by Konstnärernas Riksförbund.
The initiative needed a logotype and mini-identity. The symbol is based on a capital ”A” taken from ”Artistic” and rotated 90 degrees to form an eye that guards (the Artistic Freedom). The eye is placed in a circle to create weight, security and community. The wordmark is capitalized, clear and direct.
